goodbye milla

I'm not really sure how to start this post except to say that my husband and I had to say goodbye to Milla on November 14, 2013.  It was just one day after she turned 16.  Her poor heart just couldn't take it anymore and we didn't want her to suffer any longer.  Our final gift to her was a peaceful goodbye.  Sweet dreams Milla, we will miss you.

All groomed and pretty.  Although a puppy cut was much better suited for her!
She loved hanging outside with daddy.  She was also very shy in front of the camera!

    I never comment but I thought this time I'd let you know that I'm sorry for your loss. I'm not a pet kinda person but I do know that dogs are extremely loving animals. Best wishes yasmine

    I am so sorry for your loss I know how important a dog can be in your life, one of our dog is on what seem to be the last leg of her life and know how difficult it is to watch the suffer. At least Milla had a nice long life and a peaceful passing.

      Thank you. It's very hard to watch our dogs get old. Always questioning "is it time?" But, in the end, we made the right decision. She was ready. She had a great life! :)

    Back in July, we had to let go of our sweet Checkie, a Jack Russel Terrier. It was heart-breaking pain and tears. I still missed her very much. Guess this is part of the life we are experiencing & learning. Blessings....

    So sorry for your loss. While 16 is a good long life, it is still hard to say goodbye to those precious souls.

    Es tut mir sehr leid das Eure geliebte Milla von euch gegangen ist. Aber sie füllt sich bestimmt jetzt auch wohl auf der Regenbrücke. Ich schicke Euch hiermit viel Kraft für die nächste Zeit. Ich weis sie wird immer in Eurem Herzen bleiben. Gruß Joy
